How Legacy Started
Legacy Cleaning Service was founded by a brother and sister who saw a gap in the commercial cleaning industry — not a lack of companies, but a lack of accountability. Too many facilities were being handed off to crews that had never met the client, working from generic checklists, with no one checking the work.
We started Legacy because we believed the owners of a cleaning company should be the ones setting the standard — not just signing contracts. That's why every new account begins with us personally handling the initial cleanings. We establish the baseline, we train to it, and we verify it with every visit.
What began as a commitment to doing the job right has grown into a full-service commercial cleaning operation serving medical facilities, offices, gyms, and businesses across Eugene and Springfield, Oregon.
Pandemic Resilience

The COVID-19 pandemic reshaped what commercial cleaning means. Overnight, sanitation became a front-page concern — and facilities that had coasted on surface-level cleaning were exposed.
We responded by deepening our training and protocols. Our team became CDC Environmental Services (EVS) certified — the same standard used in hospital systems. We adopted UV black light verification as a quality-check tool. We invested in hospital-grade, EPA-registered disinfectants.
The pandemic didn't change our values — it validated them. The businesses that survived and thrived were the ones that took sanitation seriously. We've carried that standard forward into everything we do.
